As part of our Aztecs topic, we recently made some Mexican food. We had a go at guacamole and salsa, which we ate in a tortilla wrap (just like the Aztecs) and with tortilla chips. To achieve as high a level of "customer satisfaction" as possible, we went easy on the chilli.
Have a look at some of our "prep" photos below.

Spring Term 2017
Years Five and Six have a new teacher, Miss Christopher! So we now have two Year Five classes and two Year Six. All four classes are already hard at work at their Spring Term curriculum, which includes our new topic, The Aztecs. It's already proving very popular, no doubt partly because there has already been some food making carried out: namely, some delicious Mexican tortilla wraps.
All classes will swim each afternoon for a week this term, so please make sure you have the kit ready when it's your turn (the letter gave details). There is also Bikeability training coming later in the first half of the term, so get your application forms in quickly if you are interested (we are limited to 24 places).
As always, if you have any questions please feel free to come in and ask your child's teacher.

Autumn Term 2016
Autumn term's here at last, the leaves are beginning to turn a beautiful hue, the last of summer's ice creams have been eaten, and everyone's enthusiastic about getting back to school.
We have lots of exciting things in store for the year, not least of which is our new topic "Extreme Earth". Over the course of the year, this page will be filling up with important information about school life in Years Five and Six, as well as some great photos showing you what your children are doing in school.
To get you started, we have written a general information letter which your child will be bringing home. In the meantime, you can find a copy of it on this page.
Summer term's here and the children have a lot to look forward to, including a residential to Llanrug, Olympics Week and, of course, SATs for Year Sixes. Don't forget to send your Year Six children to our free SATs Breakfast Club at 8:30 Monday to Thursday during SATs week. The recent letter you were sent about SATs is below.
