This year our Enterprise week had an Easter theme. Each class was responsible for a budget of £20 and had to design, make, advertise and sell their products or games. The children had to make all the important decisions, such as what to make, who might want to buy it, how much will it cost to make and how much should it be sold for.
Each stall was different and ranged from plants, cookies, pom-pom toys, bookmarks, jewellery, sweets and Easter cakes. Some classes made games and competitions such as a treasure hunt, a raffle, egg rolling and guess the eggs in the jar. Some other classes had creative stalls like biscuit decorating, bracelet making and egg decorating.
The grand cookie sale organised by class 4/5 SB was a huge success and made a profit of over £140! The cookies were pre-ordered and wrapped, labelled and delivered in a very professional way.
Classes 3C and 4/5B even made video adverts to help raise sales.
Each class will now have to decide how the profits could be spent.
Well done to everyone for such a brilliant week. We have some budding business men and women for the future!
