Family Learning

What is FAMILY LEARNING?

Family Learning is a programme designed to encourage parents to become more involved in their children's learning and support them at school and at home. The programme can also give the parents a chance to improve their own knowledge and skills.

Benefits of FAMILY LEARNING

Children really enjoy these sessions as they work alongside their parents making games or taking part in fun activities. The pupils also show progress in their school work and attitude to learning. Some parents have used the experience to go on and gain new qualifications.

How to get involved...

If you think you might like to get involved with family learning please speak to Mrs Evelyn Cunningham via the school office.

ICT TOGETHER SCHEME

In addition to the Family Learning scheme ran by Mrs Cunningham, the ICTogether scheme is being run by Miss Copeland throughout the Spring term. You will find some useful links on this page to relevant websites that are visited within the work we do. Examples of work will also be available to be viewed.
