Welcome to Year 5/6
It's Spring Term, and before we know it the lambs'll be frolicking in the fields and the daffodils will be bobbing their heads back and forth on the mild breeze. But before that, Years Five and Six have got loads of fun stuff to get involved with.
Our new topic is The Victorians, which everyone is really excited about. We will be having a "Victorian Day" in school, and going on a trip as part of our studies (more details to follow).
The "always excellent" Young Voices event is fast approaching, and Year Sixes have the opportunity to go and see the fantastic Vamos Theatre Company in Malvern performing their latest piece. These are just two items in our packed Spring Term. Please visit our page again soon to find out what else we have in store, and to see more photos of the things we have been up to.
Year Five have recently got back from a fantastic four days at Llanrug. They completed a variety of challenging but fun tasks, including gorge walking, climbing, kayaking and night hiking to name a few. Have a look at the photos below..
Autumn term's here at last and already all the Year Fives and Sixes are hard at work. There's an exciting year ahead including a variety of trips, and a residential to Llanrug which is only a week or so away! All of Year Five/Six will shortly be going on a trip related to their new topic of World War Two which is sure to be good. To see what Five/Six got up to last year, please have a look at the text and pictures below.
A group of Year 5 and 6 children completed 5km at Mud Runner 2013 at Eastnor Castle. They crawled in mud, waded through water and tackled all kinds of obstacles. See below for photos.

Year 5/6 took part in the Bell Boating Regatta at Upton on Saturday 22nd June (see the photos by scrolling down). Great fun was had by all and we are especially proud of our Year 6 team who finished a narrow second overall! Well done to everybody!
